Drone Photographer UK — Aerial Stills & Video, Managed Nationally
Managed drone photography across the UK for organisations that need aerial clarity, compliance and scale. Drone stills and video reveal site context, operational detail and wider landscape in a way ground-based photography cannot. For construction, infrastructure, logistics and public-sector teams, that means stronger reporting, clearer storytelling and more useful visual assets from every assignment.
If you’re rolling out a national programme, UNP is engineered for it. Our managed aerial workflow sits naturally alongside our multi-location photography service and is supported by our UK-wide coverage network. That structure allows us to photograph 10, 30 or 60 sites in days, not months.

Where our drone photography makes the difference
Aerial stills and drone video support construction, energy, logistics, property, tourism and public-sector work at every stage — from planning and stakeholder reporting to press, PR and national campaigns.
The UNP Aerial Picture Desk
Drone photography isn’t just about the flight; it’s about compliance and consistency. UNP operates a dedicated Aerial Picture Desk that provides national oversight for every mission, supported by our UK-wide coverage network.
From ensuring your operator holds the appropriate CAA-recognised competence and registration for the assignment, to managing complex airspace permissions in restricted zones, our Desk handles the regulatory friction.
One brief, one Aerial Picture Desk, fully managed compliance.
Vantage, Managed Nationally
- Airspace & Compliance
We verify CAA registrations, flight IDs, and insurance (EC 785/2004) so your legal and safety teams have zero concerns. - Flight Planning & RAMS
Our Desk reviews Risk Assessments and Method Statements for every site—essential for construction, energy, and infrastructure projects. - Unified Data Delivery
Whether we are flying in Cornwall or Caithness, you receive a single delivery link with matching colour grades and metadata.
Construction & architecture
Drone photography has become central to progress documentation, staged build monitoring, stakeholder updates, social feeds, PR milestones and tender or investor materials. Our aerial stills and video provide context and scale, helping teams visualise progress over time.
Property & real estate
From single-site developments to national campaigns, we capture new housing developments, build-to-rent assets, commercial and retail sites, mixed-use schemes and regeneration projects.
Aerials support marketing, press, planning and sales activity, often supplemented with ground-level stills and corporate photography from the same UNP photographer.
Industrial, energy & infrastructure
Our drone operators support logistics and warehousing, renewables, utilities, offshore, energy and large-scale infrastructure programmes.
From documenting plants and depots to illustrating net-zero progress, drone coverage provides the clarity and scale required for PR, editorial and corporate reporting.
Transport & logistics
National and multinational logistics networks rely on drone photography to reveal depot scale, new distribution centres, electric fleet rollouts and national infrastructure expansion. Our imagery builds narrative around investment, growth and innovation.
Tourism, destination & landscape
We capture landscape-led stories to support tourism campaigns, destination PR, brand partnerships and environmental storytelling. Drone visuals create the emotional pull that drives engagement and visitor interest.
Government & public-sector
From regeneration to infrastructure, public services use our aerial work for PR, awareness campaigns, internal comms, reports and community engagement.
Our central management ensures compliance, consistency and clarity of messaging, especially where multiple departments, agencies or partners are involved. For broader programmes spanning repeated sites or regions, this also fits naturally within our multi-location photography model.
Stills + video = full aerial storytelling
Our drone photographers provide:
- High-resolution aerial stills
- 4K / 6K drone video
- Inspection views for technical teams
- Ground + drone packages from a single operator
- Time-lapse options where appropriate
Many of our operators are hybrid shooters — meaning you can receive aerials, portraits and ground-level stills together for a unified visual package, often combining drone coverage with corporate photography or wider PR photography where the brief requires both overview and people-led storytelling.
UNP Drone — multi-site specialists
Nationwide multi-site coverage — one team
If you’re rolling out a national programme, UNP is engineered for it. Our managed aerial workflow sits naturally alongside our multi-location photography service and is supported by our UK-wide coverage network. That structure allows us to photograph 10, 30 or 60 sites in days, not months.
Standardised workflow across every site
- Colour and contrast consistency
- Matching key angles and altitude
- Identical shooting briefs for every location
- Captions and metadata supplied as required
- Same-day or next-day turnaround available
This is why brands, agencies and government departments return year after year.
The Aerial Picture Desk Workflow
- 1. Pre-Flight Briefing — You share the site; our Desk assesses the airspace, local NOTAMs, and flight feasibility.
- 2. Operator Matching — We assign a CAA-certified local pilot with the specific kit (zoom, thermal, or 6K) your project requires.
- 3. Clearance & Permissions — We manage the technical friction: from landowner permissions to coordinating with Air Traffic Control in restricted zones.
- 4. The Mission — High-resolution stills and 4K video are captured to your exact brand specification and safety RAMS.
- 5. Post-Flight Processing — Every frame is edited by the Desk for consistent colour, contrast, and metadata before press-ready delivery.
Safety, compliance & fast turnaround
We never compromise on safety. Every UNP drone assignment includes a CAA-certified drone operator, flight planning, risk assessment, airspace compliance and specialist insurance. Construction sites, industrial facilities and public-access locations require diligence — we provide it as standard.
Like all UNP services, drone imagery can be supplied same day where required — ideal for press releases, social media, investor communications and time-sensitive news stories. Your images arrive colour-balanced, captioned and ready for media distribution.
Drone photography is simply the newest layer of what we’ve always done: delivering consistent, high-impact imagery across the UK for brands and organisations that need reliability, scale and visual quality. Whether you need coverage on a construction site in Manchester, a distribution centre in Milton Keynes, a coastline project in North Wales or a tourism initiative in Cornwall — UNP coordinates it seamlessly.
One team. One Picture Desk. Nationwide delivery.

Construction & Site Progress Monitoring
The benefits of aerial photography for the construction sector are central to modern project management. UNP’s drone technology allows our pilots to record areas of a job site that present safety challenges for ground crews, streamlining the inspection process and freeing up valuable expertise for problem-solving.
Whether you need to describe a project, report progress, or market a completion, our aerial views provide the close-up, wide-angle, and panoramic perspectives required to communicate quality. Regularly scheduled visits from our nationwide network keep your progress records up to date and establish a clear visual audit trail.
Architectural Vision from Above
For architects and developers, UNP provides a “birds-eye” view that brings projects from concept to reality. From early-stage site overviews of natural features to illustrating proposed designs to stakeholders, our aerial views allow clients to visualize developments before the first stone is laid.
For restoration and renovation, we offer comprehensive views of existing structures without the need for expensive scaffolding or jeopardizing the condition of historic fabric.
Safe & Cost-Effective Aerial Surveys
Do you need to assess damage or track the deterioration of a building? UNP completes drone roof surveys and inspections without the hassle of complex “working at height” safety regulations. All work is conducted from ground level, removing the need for scaffolding and reducing hazard exposure.
- Roof & Gutter Inspections: Capture high-quality images of fascia, soffits, and gables.
- Landscape Surveys: Examine changes in land use or environmental impact.
- Asset Management: Monitor large-scale infrastructure and industrial plants safely.
